Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University was established in 2012 by AP Goyal Charitable Trust. Since its inception, the university has provided quality education through its innovative curriculum and skilled faculties. The university is a member of AIU which testifies that the university courses follow the latest curriculum and international standards. The university also welcomes international students. This gives the students networking opportunities and enhances the university culture. Additionally, it provides them with mentors who guide them throughout their academic journey and provides required assistance.
Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University has collaborated with top industries such as TAJ, Holiday Inn, and IBM to provide students with multi-dimensional industry training. Moreover, the university also organises seminars, events, live workshops, and project presentations which enable them to showcase their talents and gain relevant industry experience. They are also provided with pre-placement training that lays the foundation stone for their career.
APG Shimla University has students from more than 31 countries such as countries are Thailand, Korea, Africa, Sri Lanka etc. Students get to experience the diverse culture of the university and learn & grow with their peers.
The university has a dedicated International Cell that assists global students. The university assigns an industry expert to help students at every step of the way.
The university provides internship opportunities to students through its industry partners. Top companies such as ICICI Bank, TAJ, HDFC Bank, Aditya Birla Group, and DELL provide students with internships and on-the-job training.
The university provides students with scholarship facilities. The scholarship is given to meritorious and reserved category students. It ensures that no students are left behind due to financial constraints and can get a proper education.
