To ensure the credibility of an institution to offer distance education, the approval of the Distance Education Bureau (DEB) is necessary. The Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) of Subharti University has the mandatory approval of the DEB. Also, it has received crucial acceptance from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the sole regulatory authority for technical education in India. 

The desire of the students to learn beyond the self-learning material furnished by the directorate is sufficed by the directorate via the well-resourced library. The library is exclusive for the students of distance education and can be accessed by them to enhance their knowledge base. 

The directorate houses student-friendly infrastructure on its campus. For the purpose of essential counselling of its students, academic or otherwise, the directorate has dedicated counselling rooms. Also, the student-friendly campus has laboratories to disseminate application-based knowledge to students and evaluate them on the basis of the same. 

The students of distance education are physically distanced from the campus. They are bound to face ordeals and have queries at every stage of the distance learning course. To pacify their concerns, the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) offers a quick redressal system. A student needs to fill out the grievance form and file his/her/their complaint. 

In order to offer students with ample freedom to structure their course according to their life situations and interests, the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) has instituted a credit transfer policy into its curriculum. A student can be admitted to the course at the start of the year if he/she/they meet the desired eligibility. The credit transfer policy renders students the freedom to manage their lives and their careers with respect to their interests and life situations.
