Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences was established in 2010 to offer specialised education in health science courses and medical facilities to students. The UGC-recognised university consists of world-class learning pedagogy and experienced faculties. Moreover, it gives an industry-oriented curriculum for students to learn from top professionals and enhance their technical knowledge. Moreover, it has trained young students into physicians and nurses to address local and national health needs.
Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences has set up campus hospitals to provide students and locals with healthcare facilities. It ensured that everyone gets necessary medical treatment at a lower cost and the best services. The students are also trained under top doctors and healthcare professionals. Additionally, they are given the opportunity to work on various research works. The university has started a Cancer Research Centre where professionals research on cancer and develop new products to reduce its effect.
The university’s Alumni Association acts as a bridge between students and alumni. Alumni can interact with students, provide guidance, build their network and help to decide on their careers. The university encourages alumni to give guest lectures or offer training sessions so students can learn and grow.
The university has established a cancer research hospital to serve cancer patients and conduct research to prevent it. It provides facilities to patients such as Radiation therapy, Radiation oncology or Radiotherapy at minimum cost. Researchers collaborate with other hospitals to work on cures and spread awareness among the public.
The university has launched a digital library with journals, books, and magazines worldwide. Students and faculties can use this facility to read any book anytime. Through the library, students learn to innovate and ideate to develop new products.
The dedicated research cell of the university conducts various research work on medicine, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals products. These works are funded by the university and are used for the betterment of the general people. Students are mentored by them to contribute to the international medicinal society.
The Medical Education Unit was started to train faculties to deliver better lectures and inspire students to become the best medical practitioner. The unit has trained 136 faulty members through seminars and workshops which has helped them to polish their medical skills and enhanced their confidence.
