Sandip University is listed among the “Top 10 Developing Universities in India” and has received autonomy status from the UGC. The university has spread its roots to two major cities in India, that is, Sijoul and Nashik. The university pays a lot of emphasis on education that is skill-based. In order to provide chances for student involvement in the global education industry. Hence, they have established Value Added and Global Certification Courses.
The university places a strong emphasis on the development of its students by starting Employability Development Programmes and student clubs that assist them in finding suitable employment, developing their soft skills, and discovering interests outside of the classroom. Also, the university offers the opportunity to study abroad in countries like Germany, Russia, and Dubai. For campus placements, more than 200 companies come to the university, including Amazon, Byjus, Mahindra, and Bosch.
A number of national and international organisations, including ICAI, IIM Bangalore, Microsoft, and ICSI, to name a few, have signed MoUs with the university. The university also assists students in developing their skills and provides internship opportunities. In addition, the university and Edunet Foundation have signed another MoU for the IBM Skill Develop Programme.
To give the students industrial experience and provide them with the required skills in the job market, the university initiates various employability enhancement programmes. Students are provided with relevant training through these programmes by conducting industry visits, internships, and much more in association with companies like Capgemini, Edunet Foundation, and Infosys.
The university promotes a variety of activities, such as industry visits, guest lectures and workshops, student clubs, practical skill training, and internships with a focus on the overall development of the students.
The university has created a number of groups for the students that unite them and also helps them to hone their skills and abilities such as teamwork, communication, and social awareness. With the various clubs at the university, the students can discover their interests.
