Established as an autonomous educational university and guided by the rules and regulations of the UGC and Maharashtra state, Sandip University ranks under the ‘Top 10 Emerging Universities in India’. The university has two campuses located in Nashik and Sijoul. The university pays special attention to skill-based education. Hence, they have introduced Value Added and Global Certification Programmes with the motive to create opportunities for student engagement with the global education market.
The university lays emphasis on the student’s development by initiating Employability Enhancement Programmes and student clubs that help the students to land good jobs, hone their soft skills and explore their interests beyond academics. Additionally, the university offers internship opportunities and help students upskill. Additionally, the university has signed another MoU with Edunet Foundation for IBM Skill Build Programme.
The university has established a Digital Learning Monitoring Cell under the Digital initiative taken up by the MHRD and the Government of India to improve the academic standards and better learning of the students.
To give the students industrial experience and provide them with the required skills in the job market, the university initiates various employability enhancement programmes. Students are provided with relevant training through these programmes by conducting industry visits, internships and much more in association with companies like Capgemini, Edunet Foundation and Infosys.
The university focuses on the holistic development of the students by promoting multiple activities like Industry Visits, conducting Guest lectures & Workshops, Student Clubs, hands-on Skill Training and Internships.
