Launched under the Jindal Education and Welfare Society, OP Jindal University is a UGC and AICTE-approved university established to impart high-quality education to students. The programmes are aligned with the latest technologies to create job-ready individuals. Not only academic excellence but the university also focuses on innovation and entrepreneurial activities to ignite the minds of the students toward creativity. Additionally, the university has introduced various centres such as the Centre for Social Empowerment that works towards the upliftment of different societies through its gender sensitisation and awareness programmes.
The university has a Research and Development Centre that aims to nurture a research culture among the faculty and students. Various departments of the university are involved in these research-based activities in the core domains with the provision of world-class laboratories. The Career Development Centre of the university is actively involved in the professional grooming and placement of the students. Top recruiters like Infosys, Amazon, and Asian paints visit the university offering the highest package of 33 LPA in 2021.
In view of the Government’s ‘Startup India’ and ‘Skill India’ initiatives, the university has created a Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The centre encourages entrepreneurial activities and motivates the students to take up out-of-the-box initiatives.
The Research & Development Centre is dedicated to taking up research-based activities in the challenging fields of technology, science, humanities, management and others. The centre’s objective is to promote a culture of research among the faculty and students.
The Centre for Corporate Education and Training serves the educational and training-based needs of the students through high-quality professional development programmes. The centre gives the right knowledge and skills to the students so that they overcome any challenge ahead.
The university through its Centre for Social Empowerment works towards ensuring equality and enhancement of different societies especially women, children, and the underprivileged. Various health programmes, capacity building, and awareness programmes are initiated in this regard.
The university provides various career services to students through its Career Development Centre. The centre provides career guidance, mentoring, internships, live projects, and professional development training for the grooming of the students so that they choose the right career path.
