Established in 2005, Centurion University is a NAAC-graded university. It is recognised as a ‘Skill Integrated Higher Education” university. NIRF has awarded 185 position in the engineering category in the year 2021. The university is determined to offer skill-based education that helps students to land their dream jobs and to build an entrepreneurial mindset. Additionally, the university recognises the indubitable need for human resource development and is making consistent efforts for the same.
Centurion University is the only university in India to have received recognition from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship as a Centre of Excellence for its School of Vocational Education and Training. The university also pays special emphasis on sustainability thus it is an integral contributor to the Agenda for Sustainable Development. To help students with training and skills-based learning, the university has also established various industry linkages.
The university has introduced centers for training and research. These centers focus on developing and enhancing skills in various fields such as design, product development, curriculum design, and much more. It also helps the students to learn beyond theoretical knowledge.
The university aims to promote entrepreneurship among students. Presently, it is working on 7 ventures and has also collaborated with various industries for the same. The university pays special attention to inculcating an entrepreneurial mindset among women thus it has collaborated with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry’s women’s wing.
Centurion University has established a Counselling Centre that provides individual and group counselling to students and staff in order to help them maintain and improve their emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual well-being.
The Career Development Cell provides a platform for the students and the companies as well so that the collaboration is mutually beneficial. Students are encouraged to seek opportunities and enhance their learning experience with practical knowledge. The cell carries the twin responsibility of conducting Career Counseling and Training Programmes, and organising campus recruitment activities.
