The Institute is well equipped with modern academic infrastructure which includes wi-fi enabled classrooms and offices, Hi-Tech Labs, Interactive panels and Lecture Capture Facility, Fully Automated Operations Analytics Lab and a Modern Library and Information Centre for the students and faculty.

To develop the inbuilt talents of the students, the institute has various student clubs such as ‘Octaves-The Music club’, ‘Invesh-The Finance club’, ‘Pixels- The Photography club’, ‘Abhyuday- The Literary club’ and ‘Synchroners- The Dance club’.

To make the learning experience more interactive, the SIOM takes up National Seminars, Conferences, Corporate Research Projects and Annual Events like DRISHTI, CONVERGE, HR Summit, TATTV among many. These seminars and events promote an enriching  interaction between the industry experts and students where the students get to learn and understand the real know-how of things in many aspects.

There are initiatives taken up by the students like ‘Spandan’ which is the Social Service Society of SIOM that works towards social issues like child education, transgender community, old age homes, etc. by collaborating with the NGO’s. There is also an Entrepreneurship Development Cell(EDC) which through its various activities, talks and contests fosters the development of inventive minds. As all the events are student driven, the EDC assists students with project reports, facilities from support agencies and an overall support for the establishment of an enterprise.

There are several Capability Enhancement Programs in Soft skills, Language and Communication skills , Life skills and on Awareness of Trends in Technology where the students can enrol themselves as per their choice and get to develop these crucial skills that are beneficial in the corporate world.
