The Delhi NCR Campus of SRM IST was founded in 1997. More than 5,000 students are enrolled on campus, pursuing careers in various professions. Through collaborative learning with professors and the community, the university relentlessly pursues excellence in teaching and learning to prepare students for real leadership. The university supports and inspires faculty members and students to conduct top-notch theoretical, experimental, empirical, clinical, and creative research. This improves the quality of research while promoting and protecting the academic freedom, equality, harmony, justice, and diversity amongst the students. The university conducts several placement drives and provides students with the chance to secure placement in top MNCs.
Through its extensive interactive sessions, workshops, industrial visits, and live projects with top industry mentors, SRM IST serves as a bridge between academia and industry. The cell’s main objective is to give students knowledge and guidance so they may make better professional decisions.
Alumni from the SRMIST NCR Campus founded Xplore in 2018, and it has since been engaged in the study and creation of new technologies and electric vehicles. With their locally designed and built electric vehicle products, such as electric bikes and bicycles, Xplore has already supplied the Indian markets.
The Equal Opportunity Cell was established to help students as needed and to supervise the full implementation of the groups’ policies. It guarantees that everyone has access to a safe environment on campus by assisting with mobility and accessibility challenges that may arise.
The university introduces several student clubs. SRM TEDx Club hosts TED Lectures, which examine current events and explore the students’ creative ideas & current affairs.
The Indian Society for Technical Education and Computer Society of India, are two organisations affiliated with SRM, support technical education systems with a focus on the career and personality development of the students.
A semester at one of the greatest colleges in the world, such as MIT, Carnegie Mellon, or Uc Davis, is now available to 370 deserving students through SRM’s new Semester Abroad Program.
