Established under the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samiti Trust (RSST), RV University is a state-private university which is based in Bengaluru. The university is UGC recognised and provides academic and research excellence through its multi-disciplinary courses. The university has envisioned becoming a world-class, tech-driven global university that will empower the students. Located in the technical hub of India, Bengaluru, the ambiance and location of the university brings out the best in the students.
The university has more than 20 international collaborations and approximately 30 national partners. The Kohima Institute, Nagaland; International Bridges to Justice, Institute of Risk Management, University of Essex, and World Design Organisation are some of the partner universities. This helps the students as well as the faculty to widen their knowledge. It also fosters an entrepreneurial and research mindset.
The university is determined to become a global leader. Hence, they have established strong collaborations and partnerships with various universities and institutes in India and abroad. The collaborations include teacher exchanges, joint research initiatives, events, student semester exchange, and short-term study abroad programmes.
The Center is determined to focus on art and culture through various modes of presentation. The main objective of the centre is to address social issues that are prevalent in society. This helps the students to be a part of the bigger picture and inculcate empathy, and sensitivity.
The university offers various research facilities in major three domains, namely, the Centre for Visual & Performing Arts; the Centre for Banking, Development & Financial Studies; Centre For Human Rights Studies. Additionally, it conducts talks and conferences by industry experts.
The university conducts various seminars and webinars where eminent industry experts interact and help in better interactions among the faculty and students. It also fosters traits like discipline, creativity, critical thinking, and analytical thinking among the students.

Application: For admission into RV University, the students have to register for the RVSAT exam and fill the application form online from and make the payment.
RV Scholastic Admission Test
After the entrance exam, the students will be based on merit followed by a counselling session.
