Navrachana University, established in 2009 is a part of the Navrachana Education Society having 55+ years of excellence in the education field. It is a UGC recognised university and is also accredited by the NAAC. Co-curricular activities including athletic competitions, theatrical clubs, seminars, workshops, and cultural events foster a social bond among the peers. The infrastructure is renovated with modern technology so that students can take advantage of the campus newest tools in the workshops and labs.
Navrachana University follows a choice based curriculum. Additionally, it has introduced various internships, research projects, and fieldwork so students can apply what they learn in class. It also organises TEDx talks, and placement trainings for corporate development. It also has tie-ups with other universities and various job portals for campus drives. It is a multidisciplinary university that pays special emphasis on research and development.
Navrachana University has a dedicated Research Hub that allows the students to explore beyond academics. Some of the most renowned professors at Navrachana University have written and published fascinating research articles.
One of Navrachana University’s signature social immersion programmes has been the Khoj initiative. The Khoj programme was envisioned to foster social awareness, empathy, and cross-disciplinary abilities among the students. It gives the students a platform to showcase their talent.
The focus of Navrachana University is on the holistic development of the students that includes art, culture, athletics, student-organised seminars, outings for the students, and much more. The student club helps students experience their creative thinking and teamwork abilities to meet modern competitiveness.
Navrachana University Vadodara Alumni Association (NUVAA) strengthens ties between alumni and current students. The university has a strong database of more than 3300 students. This helps them stay connected with their roots as well as contact the university for opportunities or share their success.
To assist the university’s efforts to internationalise the campus and curriculum, the International Cell was established. The International Cell seeks to broaden students’ horizons and improve their academic experiences.
Navrachana University has partnered with the Student Startup and Innovation Policy. Additionally, it has raised a fund of INR 150 lakh to foster the spirit of innovation and startups. The goal is to sponsor capacity-building seminars and activities that inspire NUV students, staff, and professors to embrace innovation and startups.
