Established in the year 1987, as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at Hyderabad is an autonomous institute. It was renamed as the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management in 1992. The institute provides crucial professional services over the five key aspects in the domain of Agriculture, namely, Management Training, Consultancy, Management Education, Research and Information Services. Besides these, the institute also offers excellent education in the field of agriculture. Over the years, it has established itself as an innovative, student-friendly and self-supporting institute.
MANAGE offers PGDM courses in various specialisations of agriculture management through distance education. The students are given an opportunity to strengthen their managerial and technical skills in order to accelerate agricultural development. Given its autonomy status, the institute can tweak its curriculum according to the latest industry standards. This helps students to adapt to the corporate system easily and put their knowledge and skills to use.

The application is available both online as well as offline. In case of online application, the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management has a three-step application process wherein students are expected to fill an online form, submit documents and then complete registration with the payment of application fee.
