Established in 2004, the Mumbai College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology is a premium hotel management institute in India. It is managed by the Dnyanvardhini Education Society. Mumbai College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology organises Personal Contact Programmes for students enrolled in its distance and online learning courses. The Personal Contact Programmes provide a real classroom experience to distance learning students and help them gain clarity of key fundamentals of the course.
The college also organises various practicals wherein the students can learn how to apply the knowledge that they have acquired during the course.
If we compare the cost of the distance and online courses, the fee is very less when compared to hotel management courses delivered through conventional mode of education.

In order to apply for admission, a student has to first register at the online admission portal of the University of Mumbai. After registration, the student has to fill the detailed application form, upload the required documents, make the payment and submit the form.
