Spread over 110 acres of modern campus, MATS University is a UGC-recognised university and is ranked among the top universities of Central India. Established in the year 2006, it is the oldest university in Chhattisgarh and offers programmes in IT, Life Science, Fashion Designing, Commerce, and Management. The university has been maintaining relations through MoUs with various national and international universities that give students opportunities to explore more. Furthermore, the university has industry partnerships with major brands such as ICICI Prudential, Mahindra and Mahindra, and Reliance Retail which offers guidance to the students.
The students at MATS University are not just involved in theory classes but they are additionally given personality development and skills training. These training help develop their personality academically as well as personally. The Central Placement Cell of the university is involved in every aspect from handling placement processes to providing students with corporate interactions and internships. The university has well maintained corporate relations with organisations like BMW, ICICI Bank, Hyundai, Airtel that come to recruit students in the placement drives.
The Student Support and Guidance centre arranges a variety of training initiatives such as personality development activities, confidence-building training, and positive self-esteem sessions. It also provides students guidance on career related opportunities.
The university has signed MoUs with various national and international universities and organisations that help in providing students with a wide arena of study and placement-related opportunities.
The students benefited from industry experts through their guest lectures and knowledge sharing. They also get internship opportunities in well-known organisations like ICICI Prudential, Mahindra and Mahindra, Reliance Retail and others.
Personality Development classes are conducted weekly for the students along with their regular classes. The students, thus, gain interpersonal skills, decision-making, conflict resolution, and emotion management which helps in their all rounder growth.
The Central Placement Cell acts as a link between the students and organisations and also assists in career development. It foresees the entire placement process, including corporate interactions, internships, and job placements.
