The university has devised professional excellence programmes to help students and develop professional skills while they learn. The students at the university are exposed to multiple learning opportunities through academic and cultural events. The curriculum of the university is a perfect blend of theory and application. Students are also provided with constant training of their soft and core skills like self presentation, problem-solving abilities, business communication, and data analytics. There are also student clubs and societies for co-curricular activities of the students.    

The career advancement cell was established to develop interpersonal skills of its students to enhance their employability. The cell provides the students with a strong conceptual and practical framework to build their management skills. It incorporates training methods like Case Studies, Projects, Role Plays, Quiz Programmes, and other participatory sessions. It offers career guidance, counselling for higher education, personal life guidance, and job opportunities. The cell is responsible for developing their entrepreneurial skills. It also offers special preparatory classes for Defence exams, Management exams, GATE, and other national level banking exams.

Mangalayatan University has incorporated ‘Work Integrated Learning Programmes’ into its curriculum to enhance the critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities of its students. It is also to increase the awareness of the global challenges and industry issues that the students might face in their careers. The WILP programmes have 3,000+ national and international students enrolled with 250+ faculties from different institutions. These programmes are specially designed for working professionals in the field of Engineering and Computer Sciences. The classes are conducted online for  the flexible learning of  the students.
