JK Lakshmipat University was established in 2011 to create an academic institution for intellect and commitment to excellence. JK Lakshmipat University has world-class infrastructure, state-of-the-art labs, and an incubation centre that shapes its students into achievers, thinkers, leaders and change-makers. The university is recognised by UGC and accredited by NAAC as an ‘A’ grade university. It is backed by strong leadership that supports and guides students to reach their full academic potential.
To provide research-driven education, JK Lakshmipat has undertaken & completed numerous scientific researches such as Electric Power Generation using Agri-Waste, Transparent Solar PV Panel, and Concentrated Solar Photovoltaic Collector. The university has a joint Research and Development cell in collaborations with various industries such as JK Paper, and JK Tyre for developing new technology for the betterment of society. During the placement drive, the highest package offered to students was 15.25 LPA, creating a milestone for the university.
The Centre for Communication and Critical Thinking of JKLU university uses the constructs of liberal arts, written expression, and interpersonal communication to help nurture the critical thinking process among students. It also helps students in their academic journey by providing them educational assistance.
The incubation centre of JK Lakshmipat University has supported 43 startups spread across multiple sectors such as Fintech, Ed-tech, EVs, Agritech and much more. Rated as one of the top incubation centres in the AIM network, it provides expert resources in business, technology and design. It also gives the opportunity to the students to showcase their talent.
JKLU has adopted a project-based learning method with support from Olin College of Engineering, Boston, US. During their academic year, it has supported students with project-based courses, such as design & prototyping and calculus for engineers, and helped them sharpen their practical skills.
JKLU has collaborated with the University of Florida, the University of Birmingham, and the University of South Carolina to deliver the finest education from international faculties. This helps the students to gain exposure. Furthermore, enter the internal market.
IBM, ISRO, Moody Analytics, and Microsoft IT Academy have provided mentorships, counselling and work opportunities to the students of JKLU. It assists the students in maintaining closer relations with the latest industry technology and the professional world.
JKLU’s Experiential learning features follow learning by doing, by experimenting and by applying classroom concepts to real-world challenges. Thus, allowing students to go for a holistic learning environment.
