Indian Institute of Finance is a premium business school in India that has achieved academic excellence in Finance education. The institute was founded in the year 1987 and ranks among the top 50 institutes in India. Indian Institute of Finance has been accredited nationally and internationally for their education services in the finance industry. They have signed 35 MoUs, established themselves as a centre of excellence, and impart industry-specific education with extra emphasis on training and research. They also have a strong alumni base. Their students have secured jobs in renowned banks, financial institutes, academies and other finance dominant domains.
The Indian Institute of Finance also offers distance learning programmes. These programmes are designed keeping in mind those working professionals who are working at executive level but do not have any formal background in Finance. The institute offers four sessions in a year, thus, providing flexibility and convenience to senior executives.

As the Distance Learning Programmes of Indian Institute of Finance are designed specifically for senior executives, the institute has adopted a unique teaching methodology to deliver them. The institute sends to students books, study notes and other resources to encourage self learning.
The institute provides to students relevant text books, insightful study notes and IIF publications so that they can strengthen their hold over the fundamental principles of the course.
IIF sends various test modules to students every fortnight. These tests are to be attempted and sent back to IIF via post. IIF evaluates these tests and sends them back to students.
IIF not only imparts theoretical knowledge but also provides a chance to students to apply their knowledge. This is done by means of case studies. These case studies consist of real life managerial problems and help students develop business acumen.
IIF has an extraordinary examination system. The institute sends question papers to students via post. The students have to attempt the entire question paper in one sitting and have to send the answer sheets within one week. If a student takes more than one week to send answer sheets, it will lead to marks deduction.

For distance learning, Indian Institute of Finance has a very simple application process wherein a candidate has to fill the online form as well as the DLP admission based on calculation of Grade Point Score. The grades are given on the basis of candidates’ past academic records, other achievements, work experience, professional growth positioning and personal interview.
