Established in the year 2008, Christ University, Bengaluru was established as a Deemed-to-be-University. The university was established by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara with the aim to introduce an innovative education system. The university’s Yeshwanthpur Campus focuses on giving students a rich education atmosphere. Thus, it is known for its eco-friendly campus. The university is also granted autonomy status by the UGC, allowing it to adapt its curriculum in accordance with latest industry standards.
The university’s Yeshwanthpur Campus focuses on five main disciplines, including Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, Finance & Accountancy, Science and Business & Management. The university welcomes international students who contribute to the cultural diversity in the campus. It also emphasises assisting students to step into the global education market. They have adopted a dynamic strategy in their education system instead of just concentrating on academics, which enables the students to develop their abilities, gain experience working on real-world projects, and land their dream job.
Christ University conducts various workshops and seminars by industry experts. This helps the students to network with them and understand the nuances of various industries. Skill Development Workshop on Electrobionics, Skill Development Workshop on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Skill Development Workshop on Design Thinking for Business and Innovation are among a few workshops that the university has conducted so far.
The UGC has granted Christ University autonomy status. This enables the university to adjust its curriculum as necessary and arrange it in line with current business norms. The option to study a modernised curriculum has helped the students keep on top of trends and even compete in the international education market.

The admission to Christ University, Bangalore is a 4 step process. The students have to register themselves at the university website, fill a detailed application form, upload the photographs and make the payment.

After the shortlisting of the student, the university conducts two rounds i.e.
Round 1 – Group Discussion
Round 2 – Personal Interview and Micro Presentation
In case of Performing Arts Courses, Auditions will also be held along with Personal Interview and Micro Presentation.
For MA, MSc, MCA and LLM courses, a Skill Assessment Test will also be conducted.
