Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 2005 in Wardha, Maharashtra.
In 2017, DMIMS received an “A+” NAAC accreditation. Later that year, it became the only Deemed to be University in central India. Founded with the vision to impart world class education, it offers courses in multiple disciplines through its various learning centres. The university organises workshops to impart relevant employability skills. Further, it brings in internships as well as placement opportunities for students from top recruiters like IBM, Infosys, Amazon, Capgemini, etc.
DMIMS Centre for Distance & Online Education began in 2019, to make the process of distance learning easy and effective. The centre delivers efficient lessons to students through its innovative Learning Management System called Digicamp. Through its Virtual Skill Labs, it imparts essential practical knowledge by making creative use of technology. The Centre offers exceptional placements to its students and has a highly qualified faculty which is committed to helping them develop skills for their professional growth.
Centre for Distance & Online Education, DMIMS provides the facility of Digital Library to its students. Students can access the study material anytime through mobile apps or desktops. There are various e-resources, books and journals of various colleges that are available on their website.
In order to ease the learning process for the students, CDOE has a learning management system called Digicamp. The portal makes it easy for students to access and manage their learning material online, which is in the form of PPTs, videos, quizzes, PDFs, etc.
CDOE also has a unique facility of recording studios responsible for recording and storing all their online learning content. This content is transferred to their LMS as per the demand of the ongoing academic programmes.
Students can complete the course at their own pace as the program structure offers them enough time to learn at their own speed.
CDOE offers exceptional placement opportunities by inviting top recruiters like IBM, HSBC, Amazon, Infosys etc. It ensures the skill development of all of its students.
