Set up in 2012, Suresh Gyan Vihar University has in place a distance learning arm, the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). The directorate offers holistic education in courses in the fields of management and commerce via its dynamic learning management system. The learning management system provides a range of student-friendly services to provide a smooth delivery of education. The curriculum is structured by industry experts and competent professors to apprise students of the knowledge and skills to tackle the emerging problems of the world. The directorate has been granted mandatory recognition from the Distance Education Bureau (DEB) of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) offers an up-to-date, industry-driven curriculum. The curriculum is structured with the help of subject experts and industry leaders. This is done to offer students a curriculum that meets the looming needs of the industrial sector.
For seamless delivery of education in distance learning mode, the university uses a dynamic learning management system. The learning management system provides students with a wide range of services like digital books, evaluation tests, career guidance, and essential support services. It is a mobile-friendly application, so it can be conveniently accessed from anywhere and at any time.
In order to facilitate adequate interaction with the teacher, the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) provides inventive learning resources in the form of online, live lectures by adept professors. The live lectures can be easily accessed from the learning management system. Also, the students can discuss and clarify doubts with the teachers to comprehend the curriculum clearly.
To guide students on the way to career prosperity, the directorate’s learning management application provides counseling from a panel of industrial pioneers. The panel envisions offering needful counselling to the students with regard to their careers and key employability skills. Furthermore, the panel provides students with an opportunity to build an essential professional network in the sector of their interests.
On the learning management system, the students can take practice tests on a regular basis to assess their comprehension of the curriculum. The constant evaluation helps students to know their strengths and weaknesses and offers them a chance to work on their weaknesses.
The learning management application readily resolves the problems of the students through its feature of ‘Student Support.’ The students receive prompt resolution of their queries with respect to curriculum, attendance, administration, and examination.

For an application for admission in distance learning mode, a candidate can download the application form and fill out the relevant credentials. The candidate has to attach the self-attested copy of the mandatory documents and make the fee payment via the given medium. The filled-out form has to be sent to the counselor for verification of documents.
