Established in the year 2014, BML Munjal University is a not-for-profit university. To pay a tribute to the founder of the Hero Group, the university was named after him. The university has taken inspiration from Imperial College, London to execute a holistic education system that focuses on skills and industry-oriented courses. Additionally, it has a world-class infrastructure and a semester-based learning system that focuses on building future leaders.
The university is recognised by UGC, and is also a member of AIU, thus, testifying that the interests of the university are aligned with the government’s policies and the global education market. To open doors of opportunities for the students, the university has collaborated with various foreign universities, such as Imperial College London, London School of Economics & Political Science, University of Warwick, and University of California, Berkeley.
The university is a multidisciplinary university that offers various industry-relevant specialisations and its students have received brilliant packages. The highest package an MBA graduate has received is 32.21 Lakhs and the average in the same stream is 8.85 Lakhs. If we talk about B.Tech, the highest package is 40 Lakhs and the average is 8.35 Lakhs indicating that the university invites top companies. Additionally, it also focuses on an industry-oriented curriculum that specialises in critical thinking, presenting, negotiating, conflict resolution, ethics, good citizenry, and social etiquette. Along with this, it also offers start-of-the-art learning methods and educational technologies.
BML Munjal University focuses on research along with academics. To do so, they have collaborated with foreign universities. The university also aims to foster collaborative research opportunities and other resources, such as well-known academic institutions, NGOs, corporate organisations, scientists, and practising professionals.
The university has introduced Career Guidance and Development Centre to help students with their career choices. This centre focuses on training & placement, guest lectures, career counselling, leadership talks, hackathons & quizzes, and much more that helps to enhance personal development amongst students.
The university has initiated various student clubs, such as Speakeasy Club, Sci-Mat Club, Robotics Club, Environmental Club, Photography & Cinematography Club, and many more. It helps students explore their interests and channalise their talent.
The university is committed to deliver students-centric curriculum and pedagogy. At BMU, the academic structure plays an important role to bridge the gap between theory and practice, synchronise the classroom with the workplace, and integrate learning & living.
