Bharati Vidyapeeth has over 8 campuses spread across India. In Sangli, the university has mainly two campuses: Wanlesswadi campus and Rajwada Chowk campus. At present, the Sangli campus houses five constituent institutes of the university. The Sangli campus in Maharashtra houses the Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College and Hospital. It was established in 2005, and offers Graduate & Postgraduate programmes in Medical Sciences. It is spread over an area of 2.5 lakh sq feet. Over the years, it has emerged as an Institute of Academic Excellence imparting Health Education. The hospital caters to the population of Western Maharashtra and surrounding areas of Karnataka. It has state-of-the-art equipment and committed staff.
The full time faculty at the university are experienced professionals which helps in delivering real world knowledge into the classrooms. The university is equipped with spacious classrooms and conference halls for the ease of learning to the students. Apart from being a hospital, it undertakes research activities, projects, seminars, and conferences for its students. Some research projects include Evaluation of Childhood Asthma and the Presence of Metabolic Syndrome in Patients with Type 2 diabetes.
The university has a dedicated clinical skill lab to enhance the skills of the students. It provides practical training experience to the students. Trainers from around the globe also come to impart medical training to the students for International exposure. There are also workshops conducted by professional medical trainers for the students to provide them a demo of working in the medical world.
The university has a dedicated online payment portal for students and faculty to pay their fees. They can access the portal anywhere to pay their dues. The same portal is available for the school students as well. There are different payment modes available for students to pay their tuition, exam, and term fees.
The feedback facility is provided by the university to its students to give feedback to the AICTE. Students can login with their student ids, aadhar, and other details. The identity of the student is not revealed and is kept confidential with the AICTE.
There is a grievance redressal portal dedicated to the grievances of International Students. The international students seeking admission into the university can register their queries on the portal. The grievance is resolved by the faculty concerned. Within the cell, there is a Women’s Cell dedicated to resolving concerns of women students seeking admission into the university.
