Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University is one of the top-ranking universities in India. The university has over 8 campuses spread across India. The Kolhapur campus houses the Institute of Management. It offers Postgraduate Programmes in Management and Computer Sciences. It was established in 1994. The university aims to provide quality education in Management Sciences. The reputed institution in Management Sciences is recognised by the government of Maharashtra and all the programmes of the school are approved by AICTE.
The university offers guidance and support to the research activities in the field of Management and Computer Sciences undertaken by the faculty and students. It has well-qualified and dedicated teaching faculty. It is facilitated with a large library with 16,300 books and 114 journals. The institute also encourages sports activities, counselling for students for competitive exams, and research.
The university has a dedicated online payment portal for students and faculty to pay their fees. They can access the portal anywhere to pay their dues. The same portal is available for the school students as well. There are different payment modes available for students to pay their tuition, exam, and term fees.
An online AICTE feedback facility is provided by the university to give feedback to the AICTE directly. This facility can be used by either students or faculty members.
There is a grievance redressal portal dedicated to the grievances of International Students. The grievance is resolved by the faculty concerned. Within the cell, there is a Women’s cell dedicated to resolving concerns of women students seeking admission into the university.
The P&E Development Club facilitates talks with industry experts/leaders for university students. The eminent industrialists are invited to interact with students to foster their overall development. It is responsible for providing soft-skills development, motivation, teaming up, and leadership skills. It employs techniques like Yoga & Mediation, adventure tour, management test, student clubs, etc.
