Bennett University, Greater Noida was established under Uttar Pradesh Act No. 24 of 2016 and started its operations on August 08, 2016. The university was established with an aim to provide students with a plethora of career choices by providing world-class amenities and learner-centric education. To achieve this milestone, the university has introduced many UG, PG, and Ph.D programmes in diverse domains. The university offers 30+ programmes and 70+ leading specialisations in Engineering, Media, Management, Law, and Liberal Arts under its 6 schools. The university is dedicated to become a centre of excellence in the field of Research & Innovation. To do so, the university provides a research-driven academic environment which enhances the employability and produces highly-skilled human resources for sustainable competitive edge and social relevance.
Bennett University is committed to provide an industry-oriented and experiential-education that pushes the confines of modern research. It has a separate Research & Consultancy Wing to provide a transforming research experience for its students. The university set up the Centre of Innovation & Entrepreneurship which provides specific courses and activities that help drive innovative ideas and the spirit of enterprise amongst its students. In addition, the university mentored and funded 850+ Startups. University’s Placement Cell ensures better placement opportunities for its students. Every year, prominent companies like Dell, Amazon, Coca-Cola, CISCO, Delhivery, HCL, Google,Infosys, etc., offer job opportunities.
To nurture entrepreneurial capabilities amongst its students, the Bennett University has established the Centre of Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The Centre has been founded in association with Babson College, which is considered to be a pioneer of business education. It curates and promotes courses that educate students for each stage of entrepreneurship from germination of idea to its viable execution.
Apart from offering courses to encourage entrepreneurship, the Bennett Hatchery offers the needful resources to the students and the faculty, who have ideas for budding startups. It offers the necessary guidance, money, and network to the young entrepreneurs.
Bennett University has a student-led entrepreneurship cell, named “SPARK”. It organises competitions and events for the students to Ideate and Innovate. Besides, it organises startup visits, which renders the students with the right kind of mentoring and professional connections. Its story sessions, like ‘Coffee with Successful Founders’, helps students to structure their careers goals.
Bennett University offers research oriented curriculum as well as modern infrastructure to its students. The university is endowed with research driven centres, encompassing disciplines of Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Cyber Security, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc. Its Office of International Relations & Corporate Outreach (IRCO) endeavours to collaborate with universities and research organisations worldwide, and provides a platform to share ideas and research.
To create and maintain an effective, timely, and fair grievance handling process, the university introduced the Grievance Redressal Mechanism. The mechanism is dedicated to develop a understanding-culture and to ensure that any grievances are resolved promptly and objectively.
