Established in the year 2008, Amity University is among India’s top private universities. It is a multidisciplinary university that has created a name for itself in the global market based upon the unique academic structure and latest teaching-learning methodologies it follows.

Additionally, it also focuses on innovation and a perfect blend of tradition and modern techniques. Amity University has introduced a Industry Campus Connect Program for the students to help them with industry visits. It includes newspapers, radio stations, television channels, industries, market centres, village development bodies, and much more.
The university has initiated various Centres of Excellence to help students explore their interests and get excerpt assistance for the same. Amity Centre for Ocean-Atmospheric Science and Technology, Amity Centre for Nanobiotechnology and Nanomedicine, Yunus Social Business Centre are among the few.
The university has paid special emphasis on research and acted upon thusly. Presently the university has 1018 Scopus Research Publications, 159 Funded Projects Submitted, 48 Patents Filed and much more. It offers research opportunities in various disciplines to cater to the needs of all the students.
The university is working rigorously to establish itself as a global leader. Hence, it has introduced 4 language courses in French, Spanish, German and Chinese. The university also helps students to learn via other methods such as playing movies, songs, skits and much more in the students’ chosen language.
The university has initiated counselling sessions to address students’ issues and grievances. These are face to face counselling sessions wherein they help the students to build confidence, stay optimistic, and address any health or well being issue that they might have.
