Established in 2011, Shiv Nadar University has a full range of academic programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. The university is committed to build an international presence and has entered into strategic partnerships with international universities like University of Bologna, China University of Petroleum, Deakin University, etc. This allows the students and researchers to engage with like-minded people spanning across geographies. The university has been accredited with Grade ‘A’ by NAAC in 2019. As per NIRF 2022, Shiv Nadar University is ranked 84th overall in India and 61st among universities in 2022. It is the youngest institution to rank among the Top 100 ‘Overall Institutes’ list in the NIRF Rankings consecutively for 3 years.
The mission of Academy of Continuing Education is to enable ‘life-time learning’ and harness the University’s rich intellectual resources. It aims to provide access to its students to best-in-class knowledge, practices, and skill development courses. It follows a tech-enabled blended learning approach and offers customisable programs which make the learning process quite easy for the students. The Academy of Continuing Education presents a choice of learning opportunities through certificate and degree programs. Across their offerings, students experience the blended deployment of in-class and experiential learning using interactive e-learning and tutoring techniques, gamification, simulations and learning apps.

The Academy of Continuing Education offers students access to the Job Board. Here, job opportunities are shared on a regular basis. Furthermore, the university also holds e-sessions for resume and portfolio building. Students are also offered with career mentoring for assistance through every step of their career path.
The university has adopted a real-time multidisciplinary curriculum in order to shape the overall personality of the students and make them industry-ready. It focuses on a case-study based learning process with a perfect blend of theoretical and practical learning.
The university’s Alumni Relations Office takes care of alumni engagement and maintains a communication channel with them and keeps them informed of University’s achievements and advancements. This also helps the existing students as this builds an alumni network for them to connect with.
