Admission Procedure for Distance Learning in Symbiosis

In order to secure admission to Distance Learning in Symbiosis, you need to follow a 3-step procedure which can be mentioned as follows-

1. Purchase Application Form

• You need to register on the “Apply Online” portal of SCDL and then click on “Sign Up”. After registration, you need to log in to purchase the application form. After this, you have to fill out the application form with the login credentials received at your registered email id. You can even download the e- prospectus for further reference.
• The application fee for the General/ Defence category students is INR 1,200/-
• You need to pay the application form fee immediately, in order to reserve your seat.

2. Registration

The next step involves uploading the required documents.

3. List of Documents

The student needs to sign the application form electronically. Following is the list of documents you need to submit along with the printout of the application form-

• One recent passport-size coloured photograph
• Government-issued photo identity proof: Passport or Adhar Card
• Degree Certificate/ Provisional or Passing Certificate/ Mark sheets
• Degree Equivalence Certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), in case graduation is completed from an International University
• A photocopy of the class XII mark sheet attested by a class 1 gazetted officer or notarised by a notary
• Name change document, if any
• If you are applying under Defence Category you need to submit the proof for the same which can be: A service Certificate/ Discharge Book/ Dependent Certificate (if any)

4. Payment of Fees

• You need to deposit your course fee according to the set timeline and confirm your seat.
• You can pay the fee either online via an online payment gateway or by submitting a demand draft in the favour of “The Director SCDL, Pune” payable at Pune.

*Exam fees are not transferable or refundable. Cash payments for any fee are not accepted by SCDL.
