What is the BVP CET Exam?

BVP CET stands for Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test. It is a university entrance exam conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune for various UG and PG Programmes such as BTech, BPharma, BASLP, BSc Biotechnology, B Optometry, B Physiotherapy, BBA LLB, BA LLB, BSc Nursing, and PB BSc Nursing. It is an annual computer-based test.

The primary objective of the BVP CET Exam is to provide a single channel of entrance into various UG and PG programmes. By offering a single admissions window, the exam helps eliminate the necessity for holding several exams for different courses.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for appearing in the BVP CET Exam 2023 are mentioned below:

  • 10+2 examination in the Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects along with Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Technical as one of the optional subjects.

  • Open category candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate aggregate

  • Reserved category candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate

  • The students who are awaiting their results can also apply for the exam. However, they have to produce their mark sheet during counselling.

Registration Process & Fee

The entrance test fee shall be paid through a payment gateway using various modes of payment such as Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI.

BVP CET Important Exam Guidelines

  1. The students must bring their admit cards to the centre. No candidate will be allowed entry without it. The candidate is also required to bring one original Identity proof such as Voter Identity Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport or Aadhar Card, etc.

  2. The Identity proof should be original and non-expired.

  3. Possession and use of electronic devices such as Mobile Phones, Microphones, Calculators, Log Tables, Digital Watches, Digital Diary Books, etc. are strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall.

  4. The students must reach the test centre at least one and a half hours prior to the commencement of the exam.
