What is the BITSAT Exam?

Every year, the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani conducts the BITSAT entrance exam for admission into undergraduate engineering courses (B.E.) at its Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses. Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT

Before applying for the BITSAT 2023 exam, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the desired course. The following are the detailed eligibility criteria for various courses offered by BITS:

For admission to all programmes at BITS except B.Pharm.

1. Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or its equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Additionally, they must possess proficiency in English.

2. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and a minimum of 60% in each subject individually.

3. Candidates appearing in the 12th class are also eligible to apply.

For admission to B.Pharm.

1. Applicants must have passed 12th or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects and must possess sufficient English proficiency.

2. Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) can apply for Pharmacy courses.

3. Candidates must obtain a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, with at least 60% marks in each subject individually.

Registration Process & Fee

1. To begin the process, students must first register for BITSAT 2023 by providing personal information such as their name, gender, date of birth, email address, mobile number, and password. 2. Upon successful registration, a pop-up message containing the student’s registration number will appear on the screen. In addition, an email and text message containing the student’s login ID and password will be sent to their registered email id and phone number.

3. Once registration is complete, the next step is to fill out the BITSAT 2023 application form.

4. Once the candidates have filled in all the necessary details, they will be required to upload scanned copies of their recent passport-size colour photograph and signature according to the given specifications.

5. To complete the application process, candidates must pay the application fee online using a credit/debit card or internet banking.

BITSAT Slot Booking

The dates for the BITSAT 2023 slot booking process have been announced, and registered candidates can select their preferred exam slots from April 27 to May 8 (Session 1) and June 14 to 15 (Session 2).

It is important to note that slot booking for BITSAT 2023 will be on a first-come-first-served basis, and once the booking is completed, no changes will be allowed in the selected slots.

BITS Pilani will automatically assign an exam date and time if a candidate fails to book a slot. Once a candidate completes the slot booking process, the admit cards will be available for download.

BITSAT Admit Card

The organising authority will release the BITSAT admit card 2023 on its official website for both session 1 and session 2 on May 10, 2023, and June 16, 2023, respectively.
