To improve the students’ understanding, the institute offers an extensive e-learning kit to students of PGDM Programmes. The kit is a versatile package of learning resources in the form of easily comprehensible Powerpoint Presentations and summaries. Also, the kit includes tests to help students assess their learning.
The institute arranges live student-teacher interaction through virtual classrooms. Through the virtual classrooms, teachers offer lectures to the students and clear their queries.
In order to diversify their respective knowledge base and proficiency, the institute offers students, enrolled in hybrid learning mode, the opportunity to enrol in another domain for specialisation. The students get five years, instead of four years, to complete their course with dual specialisation.

The Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research provides open admissions to its students in hybrid PGDM Programmes through both online as well as offline mode. For application through online mode, a candidate has to fill out the online application form, upload the necessary documents and pay the prospectus fee as well as the course fee. Likewise, a candidate can download the application form from the university’s website, fill out the form, attach the necessary documents, and personally submit it along with the prospectus and the course fee.
The university also offers admission to PG Hybrid Programme through lateral entry mode, if a candidate has completed a one-year Diploma Programme and the joining year of the Diploma Programme is on or after January 2006.
