In order to deliver premier education, the institute facilitates continuous development of faculty, stressing on their teaching methodologies and career growth. To ensure maximum achievement of goals of its students, the Placement Cell at the campus brings lucrative job offers from recruiters across the world. The institute has received accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and provides a few AICTE-approved programmes.
The Institute of Management Technology has set up its distance learning arm, named the Centre for Distance Learning (CDL). With the vision to facilitate continuous learning of professionals in the arena of management, the centre offers specialised management courses with a world-class curriculum. In addition to the well-equipped campus, the centre offers students with interactive digital lectures and a digital library. Also, the students can accomplish their learning goals by tracking their progress via a learning management system called EduGenie.
To enable working professionals to learn and evolve, the Centre for Distance Learning (CDL) provides its specialised management courses via a dynamic learning management system, named EduGenie. The EduGenie facilitates students to manage their studies in between their busy work schedules. The students can easily access the course material, tests, lectures, etc.
Other than delivering education in an offline setup, the centre uses modern web infrastructure to impart interactive learning to its students. The students can participate in web conferences and interact via audio and video conveniently from their mobile phones.
Apart from the management courses, the Centre for Distance Learning (CDL) offers massive online open courses (MOOCs) under the Government of India’s digital initiative Swayam. The students can enrol free of cost in the courses and access quality resources to broaden their learning. Also, they can receive the desired certification after they clear a paid exam.
The centre has a well-resourced digital library. The library offers easy access for students to the huge network of digital resources, research tools and research papers, including the government’s National Digital Library of India, Shodhganga and e-ShodhSindhu, etc. The easy digital access to large resources helps students to undertake their learning and research from anywhere and at any time.
The centre provides a web portal for students, who need information concerning the course structure, syllabus, fee details, examination schedule, results, certificates, etc.
For the convenience of the students, the university has designed a matrix for students. The matrix contains specific cells for various categories of queries, ranging from enrolment, exams, projects, books, and many more. For each category, two to three names of designated persons, their mail addresses, and phone numbers are given. The students can easily contact the designated person to sort out their queries.
